Venue The Conference will take place at the Brdo Congress Centre (Predoslje 39) near Kranj on 5th July 2018. Brdo is located approximately 25 km from Ljubljana and around 10 km from Ljubljana airport (Airport Jože Pučnik). Transport to and from the Congress Centre on 5th July 2018 ACER will provide transportation from Ljubljana to the Conference Venue. Two Buses will depart, at 8:00 in the morning, next to the Agency’s premises (from Erjavčeva street 12). For easily spotting the location from Trg republike (where the Agency is located) you can look for the three flags of the Cultural Centre Cankariev Dom. The buses will be parked behind them. Find here the exact location. At the end of the Conference two buses will be departing from Brdo Conference Centre at 15:50 and 16:00 one for the Airport and another one for Ljubljana. Participants wishing to take advantage of these transfers are kindly invited to book them at the time of their registration for the Conference. Accommodation For those participants who wish to stay in the proximity of the Congress Centre, accommodation will be available at Brdo Hotel. The Agency has optioned a number of rooms for participants in the ACER Annual Conference, who are invited to contact the hotel directly to make their reservations. The ACER special price for a single room is 75€. You can take advantage of the reduced rate negotiated by the Agency by quoting "ACER Annual Conference" when booking your room. Participants are responsible for the cost of their accommodation. Due to the limited capacity of the hotel, you are advised to book your hotel room as soon as possible. Participants wishing to stay in Ljubljana are invited to refer to the list of hotels with ACER negotiated preferential prices by quoting “ACER guest” when booking your room. Participants staying in Ljubljana will be able to take advantage of the transfer to and from the Conference Centre provided by the Agency on the day of the Conference. ACER cannot be held responsible for individual reservations and all costs shall be borne by the guest. Guests should acquaint themselves with the cancellation policy at the time of reservation. Language The official language of the conference will be English. Communication Facilities Wi-fi internet access will be available throughout the venue. Printing services will also be provided at the Information and Accreditation Desk. Meals Coffee and refreshments will be available before the start of the Conference and at the morning break. Lunch will also be provided. Please indicate any special dietary requirement in the registration form. Transport Arrival by Plane From Ljubljana Airport Participants are responsible to make their own transport arrangement on arrival at Ljubljana airport. From Ljubljana airport there are public transport links or private shuttles / taxis to the Congress Centre Brdo or Ljubljana city centre: Shuttles to Brdo and/or Ljubljana: the price for a one-way ticket is around 10 EUR per person, the service should be arranged in advanced.
